I had to be in Sydney for work this week and normally I would try to avoid an overnight stay (although day trips sure are a killer) but now that Amanda has moved up there, I seized the opportunity. After my work dinner (I was the only one who didn't know what a gazpacho was so imagine my disappointment when I realised it was a cold soup... boo!), we met up for ice-cream by the harbour then laughed and talked in the rain. I miss her so much but am so happy she's enjoying her new grad job. Plus we get to hang out again at then end of the week when she returns home for some work training!
